Certification refers to a confirmation by an independent third-party body that a product, process or system complies with the requirements of specific standardization documents\/standards.<\/p>\n

\u0391. Management system certification procedure:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. The business submits an application and sends the necessary documentation to the independent accredited body. The certifying body is selected by the business to be certified.<\/li>\n
  2. A preliminary assessment is carried out (optional).<\/li>\n
  3. An Initial Assessment Audit is performed (stage A and B).<\/li>\n
  4. A certification decision is made (the certificate of compliance is valid for a three-year period).<\/li>\n
  5. Supervisory inspections are carried out over the next two years.<\/li>\n
